Checking on Twitter or other services only checks what they see. In the case of a murder threat, it is understood as such an independent of the intention of the author. Lock is justified, in some cases authorities are informed. Try to make a new account, maybe it works

I became illegal on Twitter or X excl.

That doesn’t fit with:

I said stop to a close friend [… ] I would kill him

due to experience with any other services

Was the joke clear? If you don’t have to violate the guidelines from X’s point of view. They can’t finally read your thoughts, and a pure text doesn’t bring any emotions over.
