Business DSL: Static IPv4 and IPv6?
Hello 🙂
I am looking for a business DSL provider that offers static IPv4 and IPv6 at 250 Mbps.
The reason is that fiber optics aren't available. Ideally, this should be a standard business DSL connection. It doesn't have to be synchronous (I don't think that's possible with DSL anyway), but the price shouldn't exceed €80 including VAT.
It's also less realistic as a self-employed person.
Is there anything there?
Here https://www.vodafone.de/business/internet-festnetz/dsl/ you can read:
Here at Deutsche Telekom https://geschaeftskunden.telekom.de/internet-dsl/tarife/internet-dsl-tariffs in the FAQ:
Hello,
the user @evtldocha, has already delivered an answer. Here you can look at the rates. We can also advise you.

You will have to try out the online exams of the usual regional providers as we cannot know which provider in your area operates a network at all.
The online exams are then to be enjoyed with caution. Even if it is stated that a connection would be possible, it does not mean that you can also get it….. (For example, if some providers make it dependent on whether they – if not operated their own network – can get capacities from another network operator at all.)
That’s true, of course.
I thought I mentioned everything.
Baden-Württemberg, the testers of Vodafone, o2, Telekom, etc. all say that 250 Mbit/s is possible.
The aspect with fixed IPv4 and IPv6 is much more important to me:)
Many providers such as Telekom, Vodafone, 1&1 offer business contracts.
However, you must be able to prove this. Further, please call the respective provider.
However, business contracts are always something fiery, has something to do with service and performance.
Almost all providers also offer such contracts with an IPv4, or you can at least book it. (mostly 3-5€)
I’ve tried that before, otherwise I wouldn’t ask 😅 Some couldn’t answer me, 1&1 runs questionable marketing, etc.
It is also specifically about both getting an IPv4 and v6.
I can prove this as an entrepreneur, that fits. It’s just if there’s nothing. For example, because Vodafone has business with IPv4 only, you don’t get static IPv6, which I find very strange.
That’s standard. Either you want a static IPv4 or 6 address.
You have to decide.
Vodafone, 1&1, Telekom offer something like this, but then you will also get your IPv4 address.
