Burning trash can?

Hello,

Right in front of my office the trash can was burning because someone threw their cigarette into the trash bag.

I only noticed this after 15-20 minutes.

I constantly had a very strong coal/fire smell in my office and thought, well, it's coming from outside. However, it was the trash can right in front of the window. I then extinguished the trash can with plenty of water.

However, I inhaled this strange smoke from the burning garbage for a relatively long time, about 15-20 minutes. Is this serious? Does it have any effects on my body or my lungs?

I am asthmatic

If you – as an asthmatician – didn’t do anything at first, it should be fit and not bring any further complaints.

If you didn’t notice anything with Asthma, it’ll probably be okay.

But of course, you can explain this to the doctor if you get symptoms, you should.

It exacerbates the risk of lung diseases, search as COPD but otherwise nothing.

as an asthmatician, you would probably have noticed it immediately, so nothing should have happened.

Probably this has no relevant effect.

I’m sure you were standing at a campfire for an evening, and the body’s gone.
