Transfer citizen's rent to landlord?

Hello,

I currently live in a shared apartment with a friend. We're moving in December, and today I received a letter from the job center stating that they'll be transferring the rent to the landlord starting in December. Until now, I've received the rent money and transferred it to my landlord myself. There have never been any problems in this regard.
My question: Is it normal for the letter to say this? Or will it change, and do I have to accept it? I don't want the job center to send the rent to the landlord, for one thing, because then I'll lose track of it.

thank you for any helpful answer

Normally this is certainly not if it is not desired by the customer and there have been no problems with the rental payment so far.

Without the consent of the beneficiary, the Jobcenter must not pay the rent directly to the landlord.

today get the letter from the Jobcenter in which it stands that from December they transferred the rent to the landlord.

What is the reason for this action in the letter.
