Build your own Arduino telescope tracking system for Dobson?

Since I want to save money and do not want to spend 1300€ for a Dobson telescope with Goto, I would be interested if anyone has experience with building a tracking device for a Dobson telescope using Arsuino or something similar

both a motor drive and the goto upgrade for azimuthal dobson mounting is extraordinarily complex. goto means that it needs a sensitive and precise mechanism with position and position sensors, so that this type of assembly also meets the desired target for large and long newton telescopes. a freely programmable control device like arduino is only “half rental” because you have no controllable motors, gearboxes and just these sensors.

and it remains an azimuthal, which is primarily optimal for visual use. Therefore, “goto” is also used to 99% only on parallactic mounts, which are also photographically nonplusultra.
