Write a book in English?
Heyy,
I have a question about writing books/stories. I wanted to ask whether you have to/can write a story in English if it's about high school or something like that. (You know what I mean) Because isn't it weird when something like that is used in a German story? What do you think? Oh, and one more quick question… If a book written in German has a more American style, like where it's set or the names of cities or something like that, can you have an English book title and English chapter names?

You KANNST do everything. But I would recommend you to think about it in English or to make it dependent on your language skills, whether you want to write it in English or not.
If you don’t have the language skills, then I’d advise you to let it be and write the story in German, and that’s what the matter has. There are countless stories that play in other countries and are still written in German, and not least the translations of original English-language (or other-language) novels into German also work with the German reader without having to make a German counterpart from English high school.
And as far as the chapters are concerned, you can do what you want. I find it more and more pleasant when someone decides for a language and then stays with titles and chapter names, but in the end it is not often seen that book and chapters are English-named and are also disturbing the least.

No absolutely not. Know many stories that go towards American style and are in German. Unless you are good in English and want to write it in English
