Browser lagging due to 2 screens/windows?

I've had a problem for a while now. Often when I'm watching a YouTube video, I'm scrolling through Twitter on the second monitor at the same time, or have another website open separately. But as soon as I drag the Chrome tab to the second screen, it lags massively. The video doesn't get enough internet to continue, even in poor quality. However, if I drag the tab back to the main monitor (or both tabs to the second monitor), everything suddenly works again. I'm really at a loss. My internet isn't the best, but I think a stable 80 MB/s should be enough for YouTube videos and Twitter.

Does anyone have a similar problem and know a solution?

Thanks for the detailed list of your components.
Are the two screens identical (manufacturer, resolution, Hz)?
Are your drivers up to date, especially the graphics drivers?
Have you checked your display settings?
Otherwise I would try a different browser, for example Firefox.
