No, you don’t have to let her go. There is no specific law on this, too, because you cannot write down everything you do not have to do.

But there are 2 places that almost say what you need to consider. (These are the ones who are currently familiar with me, whether there are others that do not seem to me, I just don’t know)

And these are:

§1 para. 2 StVO‘Each road user has to behave in such a way that no other person is damaged, endangered or more than is unavoidable, impeded or harassed according to the circumstances. ‘

and

§ 2 para. 1 FeV (drive permit regulation)‘If, as a result of physical or mental impairments, the person who cannot move safely on the market may only take part in the transport if precaution is taken that he does not endanger others. ‘

So it would certainly be a problem if you drive car with weaker vision, then build an accident and want to argue that the glasses are not mentioned in the driver’s license and you do not have to wear it.

It would only become relevant when you acquire another FE classr and therefore have to submit a vision test again. (And that only if you could only exist with visual aid)

It can become relevant if the visual weakness itself can no longer be compensated with visual aid. You should be very far away from this 🙂

No, that’s not happening. Doofer would be if you were going to be inconspicuous because you didn’t use it and that’s why you’d wake up the interest of the police. (That would be the case with me with -7)

You must make this changedo not report, however, are legally obliged to counteract an impairment in road traffic, the following paragraphs enter into force:

§1 para. 2 StVO‘Each road user has to behave in such a way that no other person is damaged, endangered or more than is unavoidable, impeded or harassed according to the circumstances. ‘and

§ 2 para. 1 FeV (drive permit regulation)‘If, as a result of physical or mental impairments, the person who cannot move safely on the market may only take part in the transport if precaution is taken that he does not endanger others. ‘

However, the driving licence authority may request an ophthalmic opinion on the grounds of suspected danger to road traffic. If a visual strength that is worse than 0.7 (each eye) is detected, a follow-up in the driving licence is also necessary.

I can’t judge if I’m a serious source. But one thing is certain who owns a driver’s license does not have to let a newly acquired glasses carry. If you have to do a so-called idiot test at some point, or you’re doing the driving test for another vehicle, then a new vision test will be due. If you only take this vision test with glasses, this will of course be noted in the driver’s license, under number 12.
Otherwise no one is interested in whether you can see well or not. However, there is an exception here too. If you have your accident, it can also lead to a vision test depending on that. In the end, you’re solely responsible for putting you behind the wheel with a good view, no matter what’s in the driver’s license.
