Go to an optics store show them the damage and hope that you can be helped. For example, you could use the glasses in a different version. You don’t have to hope for the same model.

The problem is that I can’t let the glasses loop around and it really should be exactly this frame, as far as I understand. Maybe I’m trying to build other brackets with an optician.

Finally, all centering data must be adhered to in order to allow the customer to see again. And if you have found a version after a long search, you don’t like it to the customer. So don’t blame the highly specialized, well-paid professionals.

Despite extensive discussions, the optician who had spent the €500 expensive ZEISS glasses in Thailand last year could not help me.
After long searching I found over Temu similar bows as the broken – no other platform had offered them. They ordered me there, ground the attachment points on the glasses until they were suitable, inserted and screwed. Ready!
I find it tragic that highly specialized, well-paid professionals could not help me. But fits into my picture of German craftsmanship. It’s best to just re-sell and fix nothing.

Sliding lenses can also be looped around, which I have been able to do with some of my customers.
