Briefmarke steuerfrei oder besteuerbar?
Hallo, ich finde leider im Internet widersprüchliche Angaben, deshalb hoffe ich, dass sich hier jemand damit auskennt.
Ich bin gerade dabei einen kleinen Onlineshop aufzubauen, die Ware (Geschenkkarten) möchte ich gerne per Post Brief verschicken.
Der Onlineshop zeigt bei der Rechnung 0,26€ Mwst. auf die 1,60€-Briefporto an.
Nun würde ich gerne wissen, ob das richtig ist oder das Briefporto steuerfrei ist?

Stamps are as far as I know exempt from VAT. However, ‘Porto’ may also mean shipping costs in general, and they would then share the fate of the main performance as a by-service to delivery (or other performance), i.e., corresponding to 7 or 19% VAT.
Okay, then the setting in the online shop is right, thanks for your answer. :
Stamps are tax-free. Only special services such as strapping newspapers which are usually used only by companies are liable to taxation.
So it’s wrong to point out Mwst?
