Send letters to Iran?
Hello. I have friends in Iran.
And since we live too far away from each other to just visit each other, we wanted to start sending each other letters etc.
So I got their addresses and they got mine.
However, both sides are now confused because the addresses in Iran seem to be so different from those in Germany.
The ones in Iran are somehow much longer and in a different order (?)
Is there some kind of pattern for how I should write down the address?
How do I know if it arrives?

Write the address exactly as specified. For us in DE, the spelling may seem unusual. At the latest, when the letter has arrived in the recipient country, the address for the persons who transport the letter is completely normal.
Buy Registering International for this (3.50 euros), then the chance of delivery is probably higher.
Letters are delivered securely and reliably even without writing in.
