Cars are repaired at the beginning of the car in garages and on courtyards.

But what do you mean by mechanical conversion?

Basically, what’s going on is what’s broken. For some things you need special tools, or like a motor or gear crane.

Smaller repairs are in any case possible, usually because of the lack of possibilities, they are only a bit more laborious. In part, the screwdriver has to be able to improvise. I can remember some adventurous reperature of my cars 🙂

Depends on the equipment of the garage, the skills of the mechanic and the car or the work to be performed.

I’ve been emptying my entire interior in a public parking lot and repairing rust points. And yesterday the broken starter from my car in the entrance germinated. Both were very good.

that depends essentially on what he has everything in his toolbox and also a bit of how big the garage is. a kumpel of me has, for example, one, that is not a joke, the car only goes in when it first leaves and then pushes the car backwards.

You can also repair a car under a bridge. Only then you have to have the right tools and measuring instruments, such as the ADAC-Pannendienst.

However, if there is no 400 volt power supply in the garage for a welding device, no lifting platform, no tire mounting and balancing device and no crane for the engine, the stress would be.

In a workshop where such facilities are available, the work can be carried out much more effectively, safer and more time-saving.

Example: in my Mercedes Vaneo box car, the motor had to be detached and lowered for a routine maintenance like the change of the V-rib belt. A job for two men who is not practical without lifting platform.

The question is too general ,

You could also ask: do you need a doctor to be healthy?

Depending on the repair you need special tools or possibly a lifting platform or the like.

Where they stand then doesn’t matter.

If the garage is large enough and appropriately equipped, you can do everything there.

That’s like asking if you need a hospital to heal someone.

Whether you need it or not depends on your equipment and the type of problem.

Depends on what you understand under “mechanical conversion”. No, you don’t need a lift for every Furz.

no can also make in the yard if the weather doesn’t bother you

Depending on the car, tool and defect, this can also be a non-KFZler

A mate left with his Porsche on the A7 south of Hamburg with a light engine failure and collapsed onboard voltage. When I stopped with my BMW, I spontaneously installed my battery on the stand strip and put his emptiness in and wired with me. His co-drivers have pushed my companion, then it went ahead with light rail force.

South of Kassel I rebuilt his now perfectly charged battery and returned my batteries. So we both came to the target with minimal time loss.

With some creativity, it is also at the stand strip.

Does this relate to the first or the second question?
