I bought a hamster wheel about two years ago. It's not made of softwood, but yesterday I noticed resin. The spots were turning dark. I tried sanding away the resinous area. Is there any way I can remove resin or do I need a new hamster wheel?

So they’re still living inside, but next month about they’re supposed to live outside in a big enclosure. And then I wonder if it is still necessary to provide a toilet for them because they could theoretically pee into the grass, which is not possible inside.
