“Travel documents

Entry is possible for German nationals with the following documents:

  • Passport:Yes
  • Preliminary passport:Yes
  • ID:No
  • Preliminary ID:No
  • Children’s passport:Yes

Visa

In principle, German citizens do not need a visa for tourist stays which would be required before entry.

Travellers will be subject to visas if they do not travel on or return by tickets or buses or buses. Train ticket can prove.

The permissible duration of the stay shall be determined when entering the immigration authority: on arrival both by air and by land, a stay of 30 days shall be permitted.

A one-time extension of the visa-free stay by further max. 30 days for exclusively tourist purposes is possible. The visa extension must be applied to the competent Thai Immigration Bureau before the expiry of the visa-free period.

Entrances without a visa on the country and ship are limited to a maximum of two arrivals per calendar year. Entry via international airports is not affected by this scheme.

Prior to entry to a Thai foreign representation, tourist visas are usually entitled to a stay of 60 days.”

Passport yes. However, whether you are a visa, depends on your state authority and how long and for what reason you want to stay.
