Do I need a vacuum connection?

Hello,

I have an Explorer Kallio 50 and want to get a new 17.5 carburetor,

But I noticed that my old carburettor does not have a vacuum connection but my scooter has a fuel pump,

So I wanted to ask if I could still get a carburetor that has a vacuum connection and cover it or if I would have to get a carburetor that doesn't have a vacuum connection?

Best regards

Carburetors pull out of the float chamber with negative pressure.

I know this from my scooter that the suction pipe has a vacuum hose for the petrol cock.

There are also gasifiers that have a “gasoline pump” that is connected to the gas tap, and if you have gas, there is also some sprite injected. This goes without this pump, then the scooter simply takes a little worse gas.

And, uh, I’m gonna get out of it that you’re gonna have everything right after the rebuild. Every 2 years go to the Tüv, and ach insurance badge also falls away, then need a proper admission.

You have a gasoline valve that works with vacuum. It’s not a pump. If you want to use it, you need connection to the carburetor. The question is what a new carburetor should bring.
