Bought a car that has more previous owners than stated in the contract and chat?
Hey, I'll keep it short.
I wrote to a salesman on Tuesday and my first question was who owned the car, he immediately wrote 1st hand.
Bought a car yesterday and on the contract under the point “the car has … previous owner” the seller didn’t write anything, which wasn’t strange to me since it has to be correct if it’s supposed to be first hand.
Only after registering at home did I realize that I was suddenly the 4th owner and not the 2nd as expected!
As far as I know, the seller is also obliged, as a private seller, to provide such information correctly, right?
Purchased as seen does not apply if the seller has provided false information.

If it's not in the purchase contract you're out of luck, what's in the ad isn't relevant as you can always make a mistake.
There was nothing in the ad. The seller should have written "2" and didn't. Am I out of luck?
It doesn't matter whether a car has had three or ten previous owners. A car can be completely ruined by a single owner.
