The buoyancy corresponds to the weight, the displaced volume, the balloon becomes larger, the buoyancy also increases. You have to calculate exactly how much.

If you look out from a ball-shaped balloon, 4/3pi*r3 is the formula for volume, I guess the volume will be approx. 27 times so big but look.

Not at all. At least not when it’s inflated with air. And rather negative due to the higher pressure and thus slightly more weight.

The question is problematic because it is certainly not clearly understandable.

What does it mean to increase a size x to its triple?

wrong: x —–> 3x

correct: x —–> x + 3x = 4x

(Unfortunately this mistake is made very often, even in media)
