I'm currently writing a book about a mentally ill girl who self-harms and has suicidal thoughts. A teacher notices this and tries to help her, but it gets worse and worse, and she has a problem (I haven't gotten any further yet). Does anyone have any ideas for the book (preferably in English)?

The girl wants to kill herself and is so unhappy that she seems to feel dead inside, making her whole life look like a tomb. Or also “the/my funeral”. Fits very well to her life, as every other step she goes closer to her grave.
