Good morning 🙂

To all BMX experts: I need your help!

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up soon, and BMX is his favorite hobby. I'd really like to give him a BMX experience. I know absolutely nothing about it. He often watches battle videos, simple sessions, etc. on YouTube. Recently: Battle of Hastings BMX 2024. I looked into it and saw that a lot of people are watching. Are there tickets for something like that? I've been looking online for a long time, but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help me, or have a similar idea, or know of something else they know of that would make a BMX rider happy?

I always hear that thick rims are necessary because they look nicer. I sometimes disagree. Take the VW ID3, for example. I think the rims would be too big. Then generally, small wheels with smaller rims and a larger tire cross-section. I really like NASCAR wheels.

How do I switch to the car valve? It doesn't work. There's a circle you can press no matter where you go. With both, air only comes out of the French valve. That's why my entire tire is now flatter than it already was. There's nothing useful in the instructions either.

Hey cureisreal.

I myself was also at Battle of Hastings 2023 and 2024, but I drove myself. As a driver you have to be invited to this and as a viewer you have to buy tickets on the Sourcebmx website. As the event is over, these tickets are available for the first next season.
