BMW 320d G21 Soundgenerator?
Hallo zusammen,
mein Vater bekommt in 3/4 Jahren einen BMW 320d G21 (Also der Touring) mit Voll-Ausstatung (falls das für das Thema wichtig ist) und ich wollte mal fragen ob er einen Soundgenerator drin hat weil bei dem Testwagen den wir 1 Tag hatten (BMW 320i G20 also die Limousine) hat es sich ein bisschen so angehört aber ich weiß nicht ob es wirklich so ist weil ich noch nie einen Soundgenerator vorher gehört habe und der testwagen ein Benziner war.
Würde mich über eine Antwort sehr freuen.

Only the gasoline and possibly the thick diesel (M50d) have one. At least if you mean Active Sounddesign. There are no sound generators that falsify the exhaust sound (as with Audi).
So I mean that an artificial “sound” (not exaggerated) passes through the loudspeaker system into the interior (cannot be heard from the outside) just that you have a GANZ LEICHTEN “Sound” in the interior.
And on the diesel this has this very light sound in the interior through the loudspeaker extra.

Sound generators are illegal in Germany
No, I didn’t mean the sound generator in the interior (by the loudspeakers) as it is in the Mercedes Audi, etc., and whether it’s in the BMW 320d G21?
PS: Certain sound generators are allowed in Germany
