BMW 120i f20?
Hello, my BMW 1 Series has now 130,000km and has the 2l petrol engine. I wanted to find out if these engines can last 200,000-250,000km or if they start to have problems at 130-150,000km.

As I was accelerating my Puch Maxi e50 moped on the stand, I noticed that my crankshaft (I only saw the MVT flywheel, but it's attached to the crankshaft) starts to move to the left at around 3,000-4,000 (what felt like) rpm every time I accelerated. It was about 2-4 mm, even, and that's quite…
Hello, On Saturday I bought a BMW 520i e39 with 165,000km for €4,400. It has a high oil loss (1L of oil per 700km) and the leak is above the oil pan… Now I wanted to know what you think it could be, cylinder head gasket or gearbox flange? I'm currently doing a car training…

Bright and long-lasting may not be mutually exclusive, but there are still huge differences. What's your experience?
I'm 18 years old, a student, and want to buy my first car, one that costs less than €5,000 and is reasonably stylish and reliable. I recently asked if an Alfa Romeo would be a good choice, but everyone said no, arguing that the quality is terrible. I continued to research used cars and came…
Depends on the motor. The 120i gave with the N13 and with the current B48. The N13 is sack and was installed only in vehicles with year 01/2015 – 08/2016.
The B48 motors are actually quite robust. Important is nasty that always the service has been made in time and that no shit 0w-20 oil is inside
No the normal 5e-30 oil from Castrol every year between 14-20tkm comes the oil change
That’s good. In most cases, the motors are broken by poor oil (thin liquid) or by oil dilution by short distances. If you use the motor, the long lifts.
And gear oil should be changed after at least 150,000-200.000km. Bmw itself does not indicate a change interval. The gears are driven by the mark ZF and they specify an interval. If you want to use the fzg for longer, I would also like to stick to it.
