Blackouts from taking pills on an empty stomach?

Hello!

Yesterday morning I ate a small thing so I could take my tablets. However, I ate it so quickly that my stomach probably hadn't even fully absorbed it. A few minutes later, I suddenly felt worse and worse and had just managed to tell my dad that I wasn't having breakfast because of it. I wanted to go upstairs to the bathroom because I felt like I was going to throw up. But on the way to the stairs, everything went black, and it may sound overly dramatic, but I really thought someone was going to turn out the lights and I wouldn't be here anymore. I collapsed on the stairs after running into the cupboard. I tried to collect myself for a moment and then crawled up the stairs because I couldn't stand on my feet. At the top, everything went black, and I dare say I fainted for a moment. But I was brought back to normal when my brother came upstairs, and I sat down in my room. I wanted to get up to go to the bathroom, and just before I got there, everything went black again and I threw up. I've been feeling really sick since yesterday and it won't stop.

Does anyone know if this could be caused by taking tablets (100mg antidepressants) on an almost empty stomach, or if there could be something else causing it? I'm a bit desperate, to be honest.

Drink sufficient water, only be sober in exceptions if prescribed by the doctor

You’re 16. It can be related to puberty. But you should ask a doctor and not us lay people. We can’t answer your question, and riddle rates and guesses don’t keep you because you don’t know what’s right or wrong.

What’s in the package leaflet?

How long have you been taking the pills?

Did the dose change?
