PLEASE URGENT HELP NEEDED SELLING ON EBAY?

"I sold a graphics card using buyer protection. The buyer contacted me and claimed that the graphics card was defective upon arrival because it was poorly packaged. He stated that he would now have to pay €150 in repair costs because he had tested the card at a PC retailer. He then sent me a video in which he tested the card with an HP power supply, even though he had previously stated that his own power supply was from Be Quiet.

I then sent him the following message: 'I noticed that you stated your power supply was from Be Quiet. However, I see in the video that the power supply used is from HP. Could you please explain this to me?' The buyer then replied: 'The video was shot on the test PC in the store.'

Interestingly, in the video I received, which was supposedly recorded in the PC shop, I found that the person, or rather the buyer, was barefoot. This seems a bit unusual to me. I then asked him, 'Were you actually barefoot in the shop?' His response was, 'Have you ever heard of grounding and static electricity? While people wear shoes in the front of the shop, I was only allowed to enter the back workshop area after removing my shoes and socks.'

Please let me know what you think about this situation."

Then let the buyer first use the buyer protection.

If he bought a GraKa somewhere else before clarification, it is his private pleasure and has to do with your sale nix.

A eBay buyer has been introducing the new eBay payment processing in summer 2021 always 30 days of buyer protection, no matter how he paid and no matter what the seller writes, with PayPal payment it is even 180 days.

And if in this time he reports an article that does not correspond to the description or is defective, and therefore opens a return, then the seller has as good as no chance the article not to withdraw.

He even pays for the return. If he does not react, then eBay will refund, he is money and Goods go and he gets a short entry into his account.

And if the money has already been paid to it, then eBay is allowed to recover from the current account linked to its account.

You have exactly 2 options:

  1. You send a return ticket to the buyer, receive your article and refund it upon receipt.
  2. You’re going not and sendest No Return ticket, then you are getting money and merchandise and eBay takes over the refund. In addition, you get a defect entry into the account.

By the way, each seller has expressly agreed to this procedure with the acceptance of the new eBay payment processing.

What does the buyer have for reviews?

Sounds like he’s getting money from you for me. If it’s a private sale, you don’t have to pay anything. Another question, was it badly packed or not?!

Listen to dubios.

You know how you packed the card. Was it sufficiently protected? If so, this is not your problem anyway, but that of the shipping service provider.

This background story doesn’t matter.

He has to prove that there is a defect, there is one, he has to return the card and you have the money. If he doesn’t kill you, you end your money.
