If you want to pay regularly with Bitcoin and pay low fees, then only the Lightning network will remain.
Personally, I don’t think the waiting time is bad. Think about how long a transfer would take. With a few hours in the case of a favorable BTC transaction, you’re still good at it.
With a few hours I actually have no problem, but the time window for this transaction is exactly 60 minutes… And, of course, I don’t want the coins to be lost as soon as the time window closes and the transaction is still unconfirmed.
These high fees should have something to do with the mempool, but for me still disproportionate—We are talking about 40% of fees here, which is just too high…
It can’t happen. If the transactions remain unconfirmed, your coins will not be touched because there is no transaction. No transaction in the blockchain, no changes in your wallet. There is also no fixed time window.
You’re under a misbelief. The fees do not relate to the sum you want to transfer, but to the speed. Try to make a bank transfer in less than 60 minutes or send values like gold. And that’s Bitcoin.
As said, if you want it faster and cheaper, then use the Lightning network, which is intended for fast and cheap transactions.
At present, the blockchain with stupid tokens running on the Bitcoin network is flooded so the fees are so high. The miners are looking forward to waiting for the Lightning network.
under Mempool.space you can look at it.
