By when do wisdom teeth need to be removed?

Good morning

When I went to the dentist last year (around March 2021), he said that you can see that my wisdom teeth are slowly coming in and that you have to keep an eye on them.

On a few days during the year it hurt a little, but never anything major and now I have not had any pain for months

Now, one year later, I'm going for my annual check-up again and I'm wondering how long it will take for the teeth to fully emerge from the gums?

And if they're already completely out, can we assume they can stay in if nothing hurts?

Greetings

That’s what the dentist tells you.

It can also be that the root grows so fucking that they get out. So the breakthrough through the gums is not a clear sign that they remain in it

Get out of here. Sometimes they don’t get out completely, just because there’s no room.

If they are in pain or inflamed, I would let them be removed.

It was so similar to me.

Maybe 3 years ago (I can estimate this extremely badly in time) the doctors thought my wisdom teeth should be observed.

I don’t have any pain, and I was X-raying at the orthodontics about 3 weeks ago.

In a week, I have a meeting appointment with the doctor who pulls my teeth out. My wisdom teeth are inclined….

From the outside you don’t see the teeth right yet.

But I’m not in a hurry because I don’t have any pain. I could still observe the teeth in theory. But the many X-rays are not so good….

I wish you luck, you’re not alone!

You can also just look in the mirror how far they are out. If they look like the backing teeth before it’s a good sign, if they look a bit different it depends on whether they’re crooked or not outside.

Sounds good. Then maybe they just have to grow out a bit until they’re completely there and you can use them for chewing. Think they can stay.

I would have liked mine, but it wasn’t. Both lay horizontally below and pushed the other teeth together. Both of them were straight at the top, but they had to get out because they were missing below.

If enough space is in the jaw and all teeth grow straight, all four must also remain.

The breakthrough through the gums is unpleasant, but bearable. Remember when you lost your milk teeth, that was very similar.

Hey.

Had the same subject only recently. My doctor also recommended to let her be removed. This is now more than a year ago, the teeth are almost completely out and do not hurt. So I won’t do anything.

I then let my wisdom teeth draw when they caused me pain. There were 4 pieces. In total, the more than twenty years were without complaints. Then the one came to the line. As far as the others did not cause me any trouble, they remained in their mouth.
