Hello I found a waxy stone in the Mediterranean. I thought it was ambergris, but it wasn't porous enough. Could it be amber? I've now sanded it down, and a small creature that looks like an octopus has emerged. Can anyone tell me what it could be? I'm attaching pictures. Thanks!

The question is by no means meant to be racist! But if white Europeans have up to 2% of Neanderthal genes but blacks don't or only very little, then that's a genetic difference of up to 2%? Can someone please enlighten me?
