Confused, Endovelle?

I'm supposed to take the medication Endovelle for endometriosis. Everywhere on the internet it says Endovelle isn't a contraceptive, but my gynecologist and a pharmacist said I could use it for contraception, as Endovelle is simply not recognized as a contraceptive.

what do you think about it?

Hello Marten215👋

ENDOVELLE ® is NO contraceptive. If you do not want to get pregnant, you need to use condoms or other non-hormonal contraceptives.

That’s what I’m saying.

It also says:

During the use of ENDOVELLE, you must not use hormonal contraceptives of any form (tablets, plasters, intrauterine systems).

The drug contains a hormone, but what the doctor and the pharmacist said, I personally consider negligent, given what is in the package leaflet, so in doubt I would trust the package leaflet, I honestly say.

No, endovelle is not enough for prevention alone, the active substance contained in the dosage is not reliable enough.

I would rather rely on the package leaflet than on the doctors’ statement:

Endovelle is NO contraceptive. If you do not want to get pregnant, you need to use condoms or other, non-hormonal contraceptives
