Am mfa?

So I'm a doctor's assistant and will start working at the health department on October 1st and I wanted to ask, October 3rd is a holiday so nobody is working, do you think it's also the case that the bridge days, i.e. October 4th, are free at the health department, I wasn't told anything about that

This would be a holiday very shortly after the start. If he’s not officially arranged, you should go to work on Friday. You can certainly see online if it is open.

You can ask your first day on 01.10. if you have to work or not.

I would really only ask this on the first working day if I had to have it free for an important reason. But then I would have clarified it at the interview. The date is long 🤔

She shouldn’t ask if she can have free, so ask for a holiday, but if the shop is generally closed or opened.
That’s what she’s all about. That she knows if she has to work or not.

Why not just call and ask with future AG.

And PS:

With most AG you certainly have not automatically free, if you want to have free, you have to leave.

Think there’s no bridge day.
And please do the favor and don’t ask that directly.

Of course you ask something like that directly. This is a normal, factual question and nothing noble. Since many offices and authorities have closed on bridge days, it is essential to know that.

You should take a vacation

Many offices and authorities have closed on some bridge days. But this does not apply in general, so you may have to question your new employer.

Why don’t you ask your boss – lack of trust?
