Am I too big/heavy for her?

First, a little about me: I'm 14 years old, female, 160cm tall, and weigh 45kg. The pony I ride is about 145cm tall (when I stand next to her, I can put my arm on her back so it's parallel to the ground).

Can I ride her or is that not suitable in some way.

Unfortunately, I cannot judge how well muscled she is because I lack experience in this area.

She is a Haflinger mare, 14 years old.

If it’s a healthy horse, it shouldn’t be a problem. From weight and size.

If the pony now has hardly any muscles or otherwise has any problems, then it is not. Then you could be so light and it wouldn’t go.

It’s best to ask a person who knows something like that and knows the horse.

A healthy Haflinger should cover you loosely.
I am 1.70m and weighed around the 55-60kg and I have often ridden Haflinger. Well, the race and I, we just don’t harmonize;) But it’s very funny for the audience.

From 1.45 am Haflinger rode to over final measure, old stroke, refined, etc…

Your spring weight should be able to carry any pony. That’s what a gentleman can do.

It’s not that easy.
