Am I an alcoholic?
Every now and then (and this happens about once or twice a week) I drink too much. Meaning: I drink until I'm blacked out. Must be around 15 bottles of beer.
But after a day or two, I pull myself together again. A few times, when I drank too much, I shook a little. But that went away after a day, when I stopped drinking again.
Otherwise I lead a normal life.
I know this is a problem, but I don't consider myself an alcoholic.
Because alcoholics are always the others.
My brother, for example, drinks three bottles of schnapps or vodka every day; I'm not that far along, thankfully.
But in comparison, I'm "harmless," don't you think? But I know that I often can't live without it.
Light alcohol poisoning, each noise being basically one. Technically, one already has one if after two small beers this light “flammer” is already used, although harmless.
Otherwise, it is impossible to determine whether a search problem is present via remote diagnosis, which cannot afford a psychologist, therapist or a doctor.
Some people don’t get out without alcohol, others just like to drink a lot.
Just don’t do that for a couple of weeks and try to see if you develop a great desire or if you don’t care. Then you’re a little smarter.
He says he does. frequently not without coming out.
I can take months without, but if it grabs me, I’ll run out.
Alcoholism is a diagnosis that a doctor can put. This is done on the basis of medical criteria. In the following linked article, it is explained in a simplified manner what matters.
→ Alcoholism,https://www.kenn-dein-limit.de/alcohol consumption/alcoholism/
If you want to know more closely, look at the ICD-11. This is a classification system for diseases in which it is attempted to reproduce the latest medical knowledge.

As any type from the internet, I can only tell you that the consumption described by you is in any case problematic and that the request of a doctor or consultancy is more than justified. How much or little others drink is completely irrelevant. Alcoholism, should it be, is critical at any stage and at any level. The consumption described by you is harmful to your organism even if you do not consume sickly.
The advice is always confidential, non-binding and free of charge. Look over here: https://www.kenn-dein-limit.de/alcoholberatung/
Good luck!
Apparently, you can’t control your alcohol consumption. This is a clear indication of alcoholism.
1-2 times a week “too much” is definitely critical consumption, hard at the limit to the alcoholic.
What’s the other days?
This is a clear sign of alcohol addiction, YES. Your comparisons with “the one is worse” – also!
But I’m almost a “Pussy” next to the “Hartsotten”. I’ll drink 15 beers.
…. How much do you drink on the other days?
The problem is that I’ve been “more powerful” lately. Physically, I am not pending (I think at least). I’m lonely and bored. I’m looking for help.
You really should talk to a addiction therapist. Alcohol addiction is a bad disease – which can end fatal.
Either nothing or anything. That’s it. If I can’t, I’m getting sick.
How much do you drink on the other 5-6 days a week?
Doing quarter strinker so….
If I drink, that’s right. If I don’t drink, then nothing. Sometimes I don’t drink. But then it grabs me and I exaggerate. But then it’s quiet again. And a couple of months later, we’ll be back.
Best way to become one.
If you’re not an alcoholic yet, you have good prospects to be soon.
Take a self-test

If you’ve been doing this for a long time, you’re an alcoholic.
For 6 years
There are objective criteria according to the ICD 6 of which 3 must be met at the same time so that an official diagnosis can be made. These are copied by Wikipedia:
Strong or compelling desire to consume alcohol (Fachterminus: Craving)
Reduced control capacity in the quantity, start or end of consumption (i.e., more alcohol is consumed regularly or over a longer period than planned or there is a continuing desire and attempt to reduce or control alcohol consumption without sustaining success)
Physical withdrawal symptoms during consumer stoppage or consumer reduction
Detection of tolerance (in order to produce the desired effect, increasing amounts of alcohol are required)
Concentration of thought on alcohol (i.e. neglect of other interests in favour of alcohol consumption)
Continuous substance consumption despite health and social consequential damage to the consumer, although the person concerned is aware of the nature and extent of the damage (e.g. liver diseases such as cirrhosis, a deterioration of cognitive functions, loss of driving licence or workplace, separation of the partner, withdrawal of the acquaintance and friends etc.)
I don’t know if you’d do that, but still such a consumption is highly problematic, is enough for the diagnosis of harmful use.
In any case, I also met people in clinics who had a consumption like you could not let it be, though it had negatively affected their lives. Try some months of rest and document how you get clear, especially the first days and weeks. Then you can better judge if it’s already problematic. Physically dependent you are not, but probably there is at least a low mental dependence.
So by this one sentence alone, I would strongly recommend you visit the search advice.
Happy you.
