Big or small or mixed?

Hello…

Can anyone maybe help me???

From one appointment to the other, logically both refer to "the appointment".

But what is it like here?

He's changed completely! From one to another? / From one to another or From one to another???

I don't know my way around here exactly…

Thank you

If the second sentence also refers to the dates, this is not clear, because the reader should know that it is about the dates.

In principle, subjective adjectives are large when they stand without the nomen, e.g.:

The Largest Report first.

Such nouns are always written large (due to the existing article).

However, there is an exception, namely when the adjective refers to an already existing nom, such as:

At one time, everything was fine, but at Other it was noticed directly.

As is the case now in your second sentence, I cannot say precisely because I do not fully understand the meaning or meaning.

Different (small and large) I would not write it.

In this example ‘He’s totally changed! From one to another‘if the context is known (e.g. ‘from one extreme to another’, ‘from one day to another’).

The reference may be in the previous sentence (=Anapher, preliminary information) or in the following sentence (=Catapher, after-information) occur – main thing, it is known what it is about.

Rhetorically, sentences with omitted noms are the styling agent of the ellipse.

I can’t get mixed.

But you can write: “Vom Onen tom Othern“.

In the sense of: “Von dem Onenas he was, to dem Othernhow he is now.”

Note the ‘m’ and ‘n’.

He’s totally changed!

  • From Griesgram to an open minded person.
  • = From the murrical to the open.
  • From Geizhals to the generous host.
  • = From the pause to the donor.

I don’t understand what you mean from one to another. This has a completely different meaning, for example

  • The Starsinger go von one house to anotherto give up their spell and ask for donations.
  • Our neighbours and we buy various weekly newspapers like the “time” the “mirror” together and give them from one to the other.

He changed from bad to good.

zb, one would rather mention the direct property that has changed or generally he has changed.

So he changed from…to…

or also developed.

no, you write first sentence, surnames and nouns big, everything else remains small.

that is meant differently, there are words that can become substantive and words that you write big due to a title or a certain effect, but these are extras.

This would have to be explained in detail by someone else.

The good and the bad can be written big but generally small.
