Even though I’m honest, I’ve already approved myself with 16 times of beer. But the regulation from 16 and also the one with the from 18 is biologically complete mischief. There the amis are at least closest to it – 21 is biologically sensible, since one is actually adult (usually). With 18 just not.
If you grow up, you should have all rights. In the United States, one is treated like a child by 21 years.

Don’t exaggerate. Alcohol relieves what likes to lead to a self-enhancing feedback loop where you suddenly drank much more alcohol than you wanted or as good for one.
