Application to Hochschulstart for changing degree programs?
Hello,
I am enrolled at the University of Hamburg (UHH) and previously studied secondary school teaching for two semesters. I am now switching to special education (teaching) and, of course, applied to my university on time and selected "change of study program" when I registered.
Now I'm wondering if I should have reapplied through Hochschulstart, because there's nothing about it on the University of Hamburg's website. I also assumed it wasn't necessary. Does anyone know more?

Only applications for the first semester are processed via university start. Applications for higher semesters with the recognition of services already provided run directly via the universities.

But I did not apply for a higher semester, because I started from the first semester. was that wrong?
I suspect that this was correct, because otherwise an application would not have been possible. Not all admission-limited courses run through university start.
Hopefully haha. But yes in my application, “receive” is also “received” but in the case of the rider “external procedures” is “referred” under DOSV. That’s why I was so surprised.
