Bestehender Kontakt kriegt eine neue Nummer, was passiert mit dem neuen Chat?
Hallo zusammen, ich habe mal eine Frage.
folgende Situation:
Ich habe einen bereits vorhandenen Chat Verlauf mit einer Person, diese Person hat dann eine neue Nummer aber ich speichere sie nicht sofort ein. Ich beginne also einen zweiten Chat mit dieser Person bei WhatsApp aber es steht nicht der Name oben sondern die neue Handynummer, weil ich die noch nicht gespeichert habe. Jetzt möchte ich die neue Nummer endlich einspeichern mit Namen, aber was passiert dann mit dem neuen Chat mit der neuen Nummer?
ich hoffe ich habe es verständlich erklärt und würde mich freuen, wenn mir jemand weiterhelfen kann.

Don’t quite understand if you store a new number, it’s there as normal contact.
What should happen to the chat?
Save > Chat Name changes > Chat remains

It’s a bit difficult to explain it right.
My friend had an already existing chat history with his ex until she got a new number. This new number he did not immediately save but wrote with the new number, so there were two chats to a person now. A chat with her name and a chat where only the new number was up. Recently he saved the new number under her name and claims that the chat history with the new number has disappeared.
Is that possible or is that an excuse?
According to knowledge, if you store 2 numbers to a person, it might happen.
Then there is twice the same name with 2 different chats, but with different messages.
