Best data recovery software/app?

Hello.

What is the best data recovery software/app for each storage device? (HDD, SSD, NAND flash memory (internal phone storage), SD cards (external phone storage))

What is truly reliable? Or rather, the most reliable? What are your experiences?
And are paid programs really better than free programs?

Well, then… Isn’t helping you anymore

Defining a BackUp: there are ALL files that are nice and expensive (independently whether service or private)

Yes better

You can’t dance. Where would we go if everyone would do that? 🤔

Really? Okay, I’ll take my NAS to the electric scrap. 😉

For private data you don’t give money from 😱

If despite existing backup data need to be recovered from a defective disk, you need to use service providers such as a Kroll-Ontrack. They can even recover data from hard drives from the ruins of the World Trade Center.

Great cost estimate: 1000 Euro for a hard disk.

Backup is cheaper.

but surely

You asked for a reliable tool to secure your data and not suffer data loss

Otherwise… last a search engine and try out a few tools

The best software is a good backup software that performs regular data backups on external disks.

I don’t always make backups…

That’s very stupid.

You’re welcome. As a system administrator, I’ve been asleep for a quarter of a century because the backup goes mad.
