Best book: Russian history?

Hello everyone,

As always, I'm looking for a good book on Russian history, not one written recently, but an authentic, older one. I'm looking for the best, or at least one that comes highly recommended. I want to learn more about Russian history; it can contain a lot of details, and I don't want to be spared!

Thank you in advance, regards 🙂

Well – but if you're looking for an older book, sometimes it's not authentic – E.g. you are looking for a book about Russia under Stalin – there will be a ham of 1947 written by then Russian poliologists), certainly not to be authentic.

that is true 🙂 because one has to grab several sources – or take part of the Russian history, which is sometimes permeated by all sides of propaganda and false facts – I hardly believe that there is an entire conflict work, especially to "problematic" parts of history, that is not free from appreciation – "Black Book of World History" makes it quite good – time witness reports that are certainly some really dark

I recommend to you these colleagues:

"Moscow without veil – 5 years of work in the country of the Soviet Union" of 1937

These are psychological novels, for example, in the time of tsarism and so on and the revolution.
