Best before date exceeded?
What was the biggest expiration date for you that the food was still good? For me, it was homemade popcorn from 2013.

The microwave popcorn really lasts forever, we also have old home. 😅
The only thing I just think about is a fruit grower that had expired almost a whole year. Open it and it was still great. You can see how many preservatives are inside. 😅

For dairy products, after one year I would only have opened the lid

Salt has often expired for a thousand years, but tap water is never fresh.
Water filled in bottle seems to be fresher.

I once ate quark that had expired nine months.
A yogurt was over half a year and still good when I ate it.
