Vocational school days during training?

Hello, I'm training to be a retail clerk. I'm at school on Fridays and Tuesdays from 7:50 a.m. to 2:35 p.m., after which I don't have to work. On Tuesdays, I'm at school from 7:50 a.m. to 12:05 p.m., and then I'm at work from 12:05 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. My friends told me that school hours (45 minutes) should count as normal working hours, and that I should work until 2:30 p.m., is that true or not?

Thank you in advance

Best regards.

According to paragraph 15 para. 1 p. 1 BBiG, you can’t be employed before a day of work that starts before 9 a.m. According to paragraph 15 para. 1 No 1 BBiG you have to be released for a visit to the vocational school. You will be freed for a day of professional training, taking into account your average working time for one day a week, as long as the day of instruction has at least 5 lessons for 45 minutes each (paragraph 15 para. 1 No 2 and para. 2 No. 2 BBiG) . You must then go to the training establishment, with the training establishment under its law of instruction in accordance with paragraph 10 para. 2 BBiG i. V. m. paragraph 106 GewO can determine the day (depending on how the morning school day falls and if necessary not already excluded due to the minimum time start). For this day, with regard to the training period, the actual teaching time is calculated with the inclusion of breaks and path times (paragraph 15 para. 2 No. 1 BBiG).

No. You just can’t be busy if you have more than 5 hours of school on the day.

What is not understandable about “more than 5 school hours”?
