Berlin S-Bahn does not inform BC users of the ban on travel on the Ringbahn – allegedly A
S-Bahn lures customers into a rip-off trap by misleading them or providing inadequate information !
No indication of the valid traffic area of the railroad line (Ringbahn) when purchasing tickets in the ticket machines in the BC area – without Ringbahn , at the Ringbahn stations or at the ticket validator Unjustified attack by the ticket inspectors, accusing me of being outside the BC fare zone on the Südring near Tempelhof and now "as punishment" having to pay 100 times – an outrage! – the allegedly missing fare difference (€0.40) from BC to the allegedly required ABC = €40 – like a fare dodger ! For me, living in area B, equidistant from bus lines 44 and 46, the question still arises as to how can I get from B to C without being attacked again? For example, can I take the BUS 46 to Schöneberg (Ring) station and travel in the direction of Potsdam? The front carriages, the snout of the train, are clearly located south of the Ringbahn line outside the fare zone A, which is supposed to include the Ringbahn (with all stations?), the last rear carriage is already to the north, thus clearly (?) within the forbidden inner city fare zone, as I was able to see on the return journey. Of course, the same applies to the opposite direction, as well as to Südkreuz station and other stations in the Ringbahn area. Without clear information, on the timetable and in the travel information on the Internet, who is supposed to know their way around to prevent such rip-offs?
The route network = http://www.s-bahn-berlin.de/pdf/VBB-liniennetz.PDF and in particular ticket machines , an unmistakable warning is missing= Fare zone B without Ringbahn, if this is actually the case legally.
They represent the three zones in three shades of grey, only that one hardly recognizes them! At least on the screen.
In the buses, I believe at the stop signs in which zone it is located.
The S-Bahn ring is assigned to the A and B tariff range, so that it can be used with AB or BC tickets.
No, unfortunately not. BC only applies to trips outside the S-Bahn ring.
