Gasoline leak in engine compartment?
My car has a leak at the fuel pump, and the fuel is sometimes spraying under pressure into the engine compartment. How dangerous is it really, and is that reason enough to take a day off work to take the car to the garage? I'm feeling a bit guilty.
You don’t need a holiday, just leave the car until you have time.
Let it be dragged into the workshop or repaired on site. Gasoline and gasoline vapours are very lightly flammable and if this happens during the ride, there is a risk of life, even for you.
It would be at least a very good reason not to drive the car at all, but to let it go to a workshop.
It’s dangerous to fire.
If gasoline is sprayed and an ignition source comes in, you have a perfect flame thrower.
Do not drive the car and let it go
No more meters drive with the car – you risk burning the car while driving!
