I have an email address and often write to a friend because we both think it's great.
But when I asked around a bit, I often got the answer that the address was used for advertising or for work, but not for private correspondence.
Do you still actively use an email address for private communication?

Both people have already had email contact. Nothing was marked as spam either. The first person can send an email and it will arrive. The second person cannot send an email, but the email comes back. Thanks for the explanations.

Private rather rare, as I receive 99% only mails.
But in the office, it’s my job. I created some text blocks with time so that I don’t have to rewrite an email every time.

For communication with friends: Only very, very rare. Most likely if a file is to be exchanged from PC to PC. This is also a good thing with messengers.
I rarely write mails with friends. We usually use WhatsApp.
