Do you also get rubber bands for your upper teeth if you have fixed braces?

I was just at the dentist and needed an x-ray taken. Unfortunately, the dental assistant didn't save the first image and asked me to repeat it, which I then did. In retrospect, I thought it might not have been a good idea and wanted to ask if it would have any negative effects on me.
Hi, I'm a 17-year-old man, and as you can see, my teeth are yellow. Even when I brush, they get yellower. I read that korkuma is supposed to help with this. I also noticed today that I have white spots or patches on my front teeth. What could it be? A vitamin deficiency or tooth…
Hey! I went to the orthodontist two days ago and got removable braces on my top and bottom teeth. These have these "blocks" and (I was told) are designed to move my lower jaw further forward. I haven't had them in since my visit, where the braces fit perfectly, because I can't swallow yet and…
I got a retainer today because my retainer broke. I finished my original treatment a long time ago, but now the orthodontist told me to come back in three months for a checkup and then I should keep making regular appointments. Is this normal, or is it because my insurance covers the splint?
Had my operation this morning and am not sure if I can eat the baby food (it is made with water) but it has dairy products in the ingredients
Hi, actually, there are these rubbers quite at the end.
It’s about Elastics, small rubber rings that you’re supposed to clamp down from Oberkiefer to Unterkiefer right? These put your bite in the right position. The first days/weeks hurt the absolutely bad, you can open your mouth so badly and talk is totally weird. Over the months you will get smaller elastics that are tighter. I had to get used to that, even at the end, two of them. These were pain…
At school you can carry the normal just in the break or in the lessons. Don’t get angry with the others.
And in fact, in the entire treatment you get different things. With a thicker wire you notice how it presses and more tension is the first days you can then bite off depending on how sensitive you are. Quite in the end there are rubber chains that should push your teeth together there is a pulling feeling.
I wish great success!
Hello Luise,
You mean Alastics (=Gummis holding the bow in the bracket slot) or Elastics (=Gummis hanging in hooks in the UK and OK.
Alternatives to Alastics are wire ligatures or self-logizing brackets.
At Elastics, it’s the fault. They don’t get everyone.
Good luck!

I mean Elastics (=Gummis hanging in hooks in the UK and OK. but I don’t really know myself I just get a fixed brace soon and I asked myself that.
It depends on the mistakes. Elastics don’t all have to wear.
Maybe it depends on whether you need it on everyone else.
thank you for your answer!
