Do you get a reward from your boss when you do a good job?
"Boss, boss, I've finished the numbers. They're on your desk. Great, Mr. Maier, you did a great job. Come to my office for your reward."
Is that how it works for you, too? Do you get rewarded when you do good work?
I propose to make a list of the greatest successes. At some point, the next salary talk comes, and there you can say everything from the list as good arguments to get an increase in salary. I did this with my hourly rates (in self-employed) and that worked well. Was 25% more.
Unfortunately, something rarely comes from me, or I have rarely experienced it. But there were also exceptions. Many bosses cannot estimate the difference between a very tidy employee and an exceptionally good one. You just don’t see it or you can’t fully evaluate it.
No. I’m paid well and I’m giving good performance. That’s the deal.
Unfortunately no. Good performance is expected – we are finally paid for. Unfortunately, there are only principles on the homepage. Unfortunately, there is nothing to be noticed in practice.
No. In my contract it is stated that the work I have done has to be at least of good quality. Therefore, I do not expect any praise or an additional reward besides the money.
