Hello, How do I know what happens first during a transformation? For example, x^4 becomes -(1/4x)^4+3. How do I know that it was stretched by 4 in the x-direction, reflected across the x-axis, and then shifted up by 3? Couldn't it have been shifted up by 3 first, then stretched by 4, and then mirrored?…
