When I turn on the refrigerator, I get an extremely unpleasant smell, a kind of wheezing noise, and the fuse blows. What can I do?

When I turn on my second-hand Bosch refrigerator for my garden shed, an unpleasant smell develops, the refrigerator makes a wheezing noise, and finally the fuse blows.

Since I had transported it lying down in the car, the seller advised me to let it sit for at least two hours before turning it on because of the fluid. I then left it standing overnight, but the described thing happened pretty quickly the first time I turned it on, initially without blowing the fuse. So I left it standing for another night and tried again today, and the fuse blew pretty quickly.

But it's definitely not the socket or house electricity that's to blame, as the older refrigerator always worked and still does on my patio, and the stovetop works perfectly too.

Now I read here in the forum that blowing the fuse could be related to fluid leaking from the compressor (presumably during transport). What should I do now? Should I perhaps just leave it unplugged for a few more days until any moisture has evaporated, and then try again?

The seller, who apparently often sells electronic devices via eBay classifieds, hasn't responded to me and is keeping quiet, which is very annoying, but maybe someone here can help.

Thank you in advance!
