After passing your practical test perfectly, you accidentally overlooked the right-of-way rule in an empty parking lot?
I had my practical test today and I was nervous but I drove very well, almost perfectly, my driving instructor even said so, but 5 minutes before the end of the test we drove into a parking lot where the speed limit was 10 km/h and you could see the whole parking lot, it was empty except for one car but that was parked at the other end. We pulled into the car park. As we were turning, I could already see the parking space and saw that it was empty, but as we drove on, the examiner said that I had overlooked the right-of-way rule and that it wasn't allowed. We drove on and I had to turn around. Everything went well and at the entrance there was right-of-way again, but I paid attention to that. After that, however, I had to stop and the examiner told me that it was over and I had failed. He then went on to say that it was no use observing the other right-of-way rule, which is what I had done after the mistake. I got emotional because it was all over straight away because of one mistake and I had to swap places with my driving instructor. When I was in the passenger seat, he said to me: "Now stop crying." That is burned into my head and I find it very disrespectful. When we got to the MOT, he didn't even say goodbye to me. At the end of the MOT, the driving instructor comforted me until I was picked up. I don't think that's fair…
If there’s no vehicle coming from the right, you don’t need to get slower, check out if there really is nothing, but you have to – and if the examiner states that you didn’t do that, it was.
This is really painful at this moment. But come on, new start-up, maybe new examiner, and then that’ll be all right.
In an empty car park you cannot overlook a right-front left. If he was empty, no car could come from the right. And if there’s no car, you can’t miss an entrance. That’s why I can’t understand your description.
Anyway, if you’ve only disregarded the entrance, you’ve fallen through the exam. What’s wrong with that?
RvL does not consider diarrhea. I don’t see anything fair
Next time you know what you should pay attention to
Once all emotions are unfolded: You made a mistake that reads you. What shouldn’t be just about it?
Errors are mistakes….dumm ran
