For brittle and splintering nails, permanent nail polish?
Hello, my nails have been breaking and becoming layered for months, and now at work, where my hands are often wet, it's gotten worse. So I was wondering if anyone knows if it would be a good idea to apply permanent nail polish so my nails can recover and the layers at the front can grow out.
Thank you
No, don’t. Gels etc. damage the nails only more, they may be temporarily harder, but in the long run you will destroy them more. Better get nail hardeners, that’s quite normal clear varnish, but it strengthens your nails and then grow clean. Unfortunately, nowadays hard to find in the drugstore, 10, 15 years ago there was the one of every Billo brand… But on Amazon you still find this nail polish, look around there!
If you mean gel lacquer that is applied in several layers and cured with UV, I would really recommend that.
The nail is thus extremely reinforced and protected.
However, this must then be wiped out every 3 to 4 weeks and reappeared, which could become a little sniffering with poor nail substance.
But a good (!) Nagelstudio can advise you carefully beforehand.
