Terminate a fixed-term contract?

Hello,

I am in the following situation:

I'll be unemployed starting in October due to a termination agreement. However, since I don't want to be dependent on the state under any circumstances, I could start a temporary employment contract starting Monday.

Now I have the opportunity for another position (significantly more lucrative), but the application process could take weeks. Should I sign the fixed-term contract, and what about quitting if the other position works out?

Thanks for all the reading and the answers 😊

I would only do this if the contract states that you can leave daily or at least weekly during an agreed trial period.

Should I sign the fixed-term contract and how would it be with those, if the other job works?

You can only cancel a temporary contract if this clause is also agreed.

You can enter into the fixed-term contract and take into account the termination period in conversation with the employer of the place actually intended.

I assume that the deadline does not end before the start of the new contract.

there are tens of time contracts that cannot be announced at all, which simply run out.

I’d like to explain. a problem
