Bees in the roller shutter box outside: What should be done?
I left the shutters on my patio door up for quite some time. Recently, I lowered them again. At least 20 bees escaped from the upper area, where the shutter box is. I don't know if they've already built something there.
What can I do quickly, easily and cheaply to solve the problem?
Is there a spray that works well against it?
Who has tips for me?
We already had the problem.
They’re probably puppies.
They can then possibly even get into the living space through the roller shutter harness box – so happens to us.
My mother has a puppy allergy.
As environmentalists, we are also sacred to wasps. We left her.
It was the shutter box of our balcony door. We walked in all summer and no one was stabbed.
They never came again….
You have to contact a pest fighter. He will most likely kill the people, because a resurrection is difficult to achieve in the place. The cost of the landlord or yourself (owner) There is a handicraft insurance that usually pays 500€ per case. It is considered to be a superfluous insurance, but the only one we have ever had to pay for (other case walking rat in the garden).
PS There are protective devices for shutter boxes to avoid this.
We didn’t get it.
These are harmless puppies that do not come back next year.
It’s not necessary to kill her.
They don’t want you or your food. They still like to look. They’re not aggressive.
Of course you’re right. You can then no longer use the shutters.
I’ve used mine and accepted that not all individuals survive. Actively killed by spray I didn’t.
Yeah, okay. You can do it.
Puppies are under nature protection, you cannot simply kill the nest, it must be relocated. Turn to a beekeeper first. If there are bees he will take the people and he can also relocate puppies. You can also call a pest fighter.
The wasps die in September; and the wasp queen does not spend her winter rest in this nest.
if really bees and not puppies, then the local beekeeper looks forward to a new people…
If there are bees: contact beekeepers. There are puppies: the fire department.
Both species are under strict protection. Don’t do anything, don’t spray.
“Fire” such a bullshit. What do you want the fire department to do if you can’t do anything?
If you need help, you have to do it privately via a chamber hunter who sprays and destroys the nest.
Who do you call when you have a puppy nest?
Puppies are under nature protection, just like hornets. For the removal of a puppy nest, you must first contact the competent nature conservation authority and wait for an authorisation. In some cases, the Municipality or the Land Council Office must also be contacted for the approval.
Is the fire department responsible for puppies?
The fire brigade can be requested in special cases to remove an insect nest. If there is no danger to persons, it is NOT a case for the fire brigade, but for skilled persons such as beekeepers or members of animal welfare associations who are trained to relocate nests.
Aso on one side are puppies no matter what, but then write something like that. Aren’t you okay? When you get out of GF more often, you’ll find thousands who handle nature responsibly. Then you don’t have to think you’re the unique hero of the earth’s field because you planted trees. Enough people without meadow have green balconies and terraces for insects. You can even find them offline. Don’t worry. As a shaman, I am particularly active for my environment every day.
I have about 3000m2 wildflower meadow. I planted about 500 trees and shrubs in my life. I can do this because I’m a Bauer and have the area for it. Other farmers could do it, but don’t do it. Garden owners could not moan half of their lawn anymore. But nobody does.
If there’s a mosquito in my bedroom, I’ll hit her.
In the past, thousands of dead insects were in front of the windshield and in front of the headlights. Unfortunately, there is no more.
Do you have a bad conscience when you drive the car and kill 1000 insects? Is that why you wouldn’t miss the car ride? Or do you think, “Can’t you change”?
Of course not with the attitude. Then never changes. Of course, you can also start with yourself in small steps and be a model. And then suddenly every single animal counts. Your thing as you see it and live.
Possibly, puppies are protected by nature. Are butterflies, bugs, spiders under natural protection? Are they less important than wasps?
When millions of people mow their lawn every week, many insects are also killed. Or they’ll take their habitat. If street masters in Germany smile at 100,000km of road edges. Mostly perfect without reason. Just to make it look nicely clean.
And then the fire brigade is to come, cut the shutter box? You can’t save the wasps in the shutter box anyway.
I think I can help you. But if the nest is gone, you can stick to the place of paper balls… they shouldn’t come back…but that doesn’t help you right now. I know a few methods of removing a bee/pennest, which I do not use myself and will not be considered art-friendly and therefore not say. Get a beekeeper.
If you live for rent, let the landlord know.
Otherwise you can also inform the fire department – NOT about the emergency call!!!
Yes they have built a nest and there are very likely no bees, but puppies.
According to the Nature Conservation Act, you must not object.
In specialist trade, there is a puppy spray for people who do not adhere to the laws.
These are probably not bees, but puppies that have a nest there. It is best not to bother them – they are not a problem either. In autumn, they’ll have taken care of.
