Does cimetidine affect the pill?
Hi everyone, I take the pill and the H2 blocker cometidine. This medication isn't listed in the package insert for my pill (Maxim). The medication's leaflet states that it can affect the absorption of other tablets that are metabolized in the stomach (sort of). Does this mean that the breakdown simply takes longer? I can't find any reliable information on this. Thanks.
I didn’t find anything there either: https://www.onmeda.de/therapie/active substances/cimetidin-id204100/
With timely use of medicaments which are metabolized by the same degradation system as cimetidine, their excretion can be delayed.
The change in the pH in the stomach can affect the absorption of other active ingredients in the bloodstream.
I was thinking of this information
Look at the side after interactions, there is everything that does not relate to each other. And also the above explanation
